Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Presto (also called Ask Presto) at askpresto.com and related apps. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.
Use of the site
You may use Presto for lawful purposes. Do not use it to transmit malware, spam, or content that infringes others’ rights. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or data. Do not scrape the service, run automated queries against it, or generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
The service
Presto is an AI assistant inside a workspace. Teams use it to write, plan, search their own documents, and organise work. Features include Assistant (Ask, Plan, and Create), personal Memory notes in Settings, Library spaces, tasks, boards, Jobs, and related collaboration tools.
The service is hosted on Vercel. Sign-in is provided by Clerk. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Answers may be generated by third-party AI providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and others, depending on the model in use). When you allow Memory in conversations, selected notes may be sent to those providers with your message. Health, religion, and similar notes stay out of chats unless you turn on Include sensitive topics. You can delete individual notes or all notes in Settings → Memory.
Content and intellectual property
You own the content you put into Presto (messages, documents, files, and Memory notes, including notes you import and project notes created from completed Jobs). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content so we can run the product for you. If you share a Memory note with a workspace, members of that workspace can see it. You are responsible for files you import from other services.
The Presto product, name, logos, and software are owned by Three Comma Ventures LTD or used with permission. You may not copy, modify, sell, or distribute the hosted service without permission, except for fair use or as permitted by law.
Plans and payments
Presto offers paid plans including Starter, Pro, and Max (billed monthly) and a Lifetime Pass (one-time). Current prices and what each plan includes are shown in Settings → Billing and at checkout.
Paid plans are sold by Three Comma Ventures LTD. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card numbers. Checkout may collect a billing address so tax can be calculated where it applies.
We may change plan features, model availability, or usage limits when costs, reliability, or abuse prevention require it. Material changes will appear in the product.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel or pause from billing in the product. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. You keep paid features until that period ends. After that, the workspace returns to whatever unpaid access remains.
Fees already paid are not refunded for unused time, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Services and third parties
Presto links to or integrates with third-party services (Vercel for hosting, Clerk for sign-in, Stripe for payments, OpenAI and Anthropic for AI). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
Privacy
Your use of Presto is also governed by our Privacy policy, which explains how we collect and use information, including Memory notes.
Disclaimer
Presto is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We work to keep the assistant useful, but we do not guarantee that answers are complete, current, or correct. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice unless explicitly stated. Do not treat the assistant or Memory notes as the only source for medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions. Do not store passwords, payment card numbers, or other secrets in Memory.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Three Comma Ventures LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these terms or harmed other users, us, or third parties.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are made. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country says otherwise.
Contact
For questions about these terms, use Settings in the product after you sign in, or the contact details on your Stripe invoices. The operator is Three Comma Ventures LTD.
